Here’s why both parties suck:
– Republicans want to cut taxes, which will increase the deficit some $5 trillion to $10 trillion over 10 years.
– Democrats want to raise spending, which will cost somewhere between $5 trillion and $8 trillion over 10 years
Cutting taxes benefits the super-rich, who control the media and thus the minds of many.
Increasing spending benefits the middle class but the growth of deficits and associated increase in interest payments, will cut into the available funds for those beloved spending increases.
The big problem is, of course, us. We, the people, who want money showered on us but not on THEM. We may have reached the end of a working representative democracy.
