When is it going to be okay — indeed, obligatory — for Democratic candidates to be forthcoming about the Republican Party’s historically documented effort to portray the sixties’ long-overdue civil rights legislation as anti-white; while they present nothing so much as a burning cross of racism, scarcely distinguishable from the modern Klan?

If it is a fait accompli, then pick up the pieces, put them together, and never stop talking about how the GOP has planned for 40 years to use race and gender as their tickets to permanent power. 

Wrong is wrong, and we need to call them on it.
